Tank's reveal connects Jonah's route more with the rest of the game and helps flesh out his character and his place in Boyfriend Dungeon's world. Some players might miss this reveal because it depends upon a Jonah date and a specific hangout in the first dungeon in the mall.

However, Jonah the surfing axe's route in the Boyfriend Dungeon: Secret Weapons free DLC reveals that Tank is actually the previously unnamed bouncer at La Rosa, the main nightclub in Verona Beach. Pocket’s roommate did reveal his name, Tank, in the base game, but players did not have a face to put with his name. Instead, the player communicates with Pocket's roommate who lets the player know when Pocket is out and about to facilitate their hangouts. While this method works for the human companions, Pocket's situation is a little more complicated since he is a cat who cannot or chooses not to use phones.
